Session Overview:
With Consumer Duty in mind, is your CIP still fit for purpose?
Should you be considering closed-ended vehicles, such as Investment Trust and Investment Companies.
In this session, we are going to look at the 5 characteristics of Investment Trusts, so you can understand the value they might add to your clients.
We will also end with a market update and look forward into 2023.

Timing: 8.30 bacon rolls/tea/coffee/orange juice. Session starts 9am. Lasts 1 hr.
Learning objectives:
At the end of the session attendees will be able to:

To examine whether investment decisions previously made are still fit for new investors.

To learn more about closed ended funds and how they can be incorporated with a model portfolio.

Understanding major headwinds and tailwinds for 2023 and what the main themes are for the year ahead.

Adrian Lowcock – Investment Communications Director
Adrian Lowcock joined Evelyn Partners in May 2022 as investment communications director. He is an award winning investment adviser, PR and Communications expert with over 25 years of experience in the financial services sector with high profile organisations. He has been widely recognised as the “go to” commentator on investments and personal finance and has regularly featured in the National press, Industry publications and National TV. Adrian is Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments and holds the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing.
Lisa-Marie Finch – Business Development Manager
Lisa-Marie has been with Evelyn Partners since February 2022, before that she spent 12 years working in pensions, specialising in SIPP, SSAS and Commercial Property. Lisa now supports financial advisers with the Evelyn Partners proposition, including their 3 Model Portfolio Services, Discretionary Portfolio Service and AIM Portfolio Service, in the South West and South Wales.
