The 94th Annual Dinner Friday 26th February 2016

200 people attended the annual dinner at Sandy Park Conference and Banqueting Centre on Friday 26th February.

Representing the CII national president was John Moore MBE, ACII, Chartered Insurance Broker, Deputy President of CII, who conveyed to the audience his message of professionalism and especially the achievement of Chartered Status, both individual and corporate.

Julian Harris of Higos Exeter received his Advanced Diploma in Insurance certificate from John and was awarded Young Professional of the Year 2015 from Joanne Pruden, partner at Browne Jacobson, sponsors of the David Grimley memorial award for Young Professional and also of the dinner itself.

A charity draw was held and, due to the generosity of members and guests, more than £1,200 was raised for the president's local charity Hospiscare, and more than £300 for The Insurance Charities, which helps disadvantaged people within the insurance and financial services industry.
