Charities Update

Despite the often negative perceptions of our industry to the wider world, we should be proud of what we do and recognise that our industry acts as a real stimulus for both the economy and society.

I am always therefore keen to both highlight and endorse the efforts of all the volunteers and fundraisers (individuals and companies) across our industry who support and raise awareness of their chosen charities and in doing so, positively promote our industry to the general public - our customers!

Staff at QBE are undertaking a sponsored cycle tour across the UK to raise funds for their chosen charity Breast Cancer Care. The Tour sets off from George Square in Glasgow at 8.45am on 12th September and it would be fantastic if our members could show their support to the riders by turning up at George Square to give the riders a big Glasgow send off.

I will be there to wish them well and I hope many of our members will turn out too. If you plan to attend please use the contact details below and register your support.
