An Overview of Contract Works Insurance

The Insurance and Actuarial Society of Glasgow is happy to announce that their next CPD event will focus on the topic of contract works insurance.

The session will be delivered by Peter Tomlinson and Stefan Bramwell.

Peter Tomlinson, Senior Construction Underwriter

Peter has been practising Construction underwriting for over 40 years, working with bluechip Construction Insurers including National Vulcan, RSA and Allianz. In his time, Peter has been involved in some of the largest projects in the market including Liverpool 2 Deep Sea Container Terminal and Transport for Greater Manchester Tram project. His career has seen him operate in markets as diverse as London, Brussels and now Manchester. Peter is currently a Senior Underwriter in Allianz’s Construction Expert Team.

Stefan Bramwell ACII, Chartered Insurer, Senior Construction Underwriter

Stefan has over 25 years’ experience in Construction and Engineering insurance and has held a variety of Technical, Trading and Management roles at Eagle Star (Now Zurich), XL (now XL Caitlin) and Allianz. Stefan also helped set up a successful London Managing General Agent, holding the role of Director, Construction. During his career, Stefan has worked on US Builders Risks and International Construction Risks as well as UK domestic Construction and Engineering Risks. Stefan is currently a Senior Underwriter in Allianz’s Construction Expert Team.
