The Professional Development Group are delighted to announce their next in person CPD event.

As we approach the end of another busy year, we look back at some of the key decisions issued by the courts and their impact on the legal landscape. We will provide a brief overview of some key cases and provide an analysis of their significance. In our 45 minute talk, we will seek to identify emerging trends including those on duty of care, psychiatric injury and expert evidence in court.

Who is it for?

Professionals such as brokers, claims handlers and underwriters.

Learning objectives:

By attending this event delegates will be able to identify the following:

  • Recent key decisions issued by the Court of Session and Sheriff Courts.
  • The resulting legal landscape and the potential impact of these cases on those working in the insurance industry.
  • Lessons that can be learned from the cases covered.

Please note there will be an opportunity to network over sandwiches following the seminar.
