Welcome to the website for the Insurance Institute of Guernsey. I am delighted to have been re-elected as President for the 2024-25 term. This is something that I continue to take great pride in and continuing the legacy of my predecessors from the last 40 years, in supporting what is an amazing industry and community.

The IIG has approximately 375 members, of which over two-thirds have attained some form of qualification in insurance or financial services. 74 of our members hold Chartered status. The IIG council supports education through exam support, both online and in person as well as continuing professional development through our educational events. 

I am also committed for the IIG to provide more social networking opportunities such as our quiz night and Go Karting event, as well as continuing in working closely with IIJ to ensure we reintroduce the netball and football inter-insular matches. 

I am excited that our 40th Anniversary falls due this year, and am already looking forward to celebrating with as many as our members in October.
