Help us support our local students

We have received various levels of interest from local colleges and universitities to provide the following services:

Work experience – this could either involve the student shadowing a member of staff for a couple of days or a couple of weeks, or the student getting involved in a project that allows them to understand how a business in the sector operates.

Internship – in other words, a longer work placement, either for a recent graduate, or for someone doing a sandwich degree in a related area such as Business, Management, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Law and so on.

Skills sessions – where someone from the sector spends a couple of hours per term/year with a group of learners, to explain to them the importance of commercial awareness, preparing for application centres, running a business and similar sessions.

Guest lecture slot – talking to students about the insurance and/or advice sectors and the opportunities within both of them.
