Our July speaker will be Julie-anne Headington.

Julie-anne Headington is a chartered loss adjuster and Chartered insurance practitioner with over 30 years’ experience in the insurance industry. She is a member of the Executive Board of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters and the Chair of their Examinations Committee.

Julie-anne is passionate about lifelong learning and is currently studying towards to FCII. She co-founded Channel Islands Adjusters Ltd with her husband Richard 17 years ago.

The learning points are:

  • What is the definition of Fraud?
  • How do we detect it?
  • How do we prevent it?

The talk will take place at Moore's Hotel on Wednesday 21 July at 12.30pm. (£12 for members of the Insurance Institute of Guernsey and £14 for non-members). Please do remember that the attendance fee is payable whether lunch is taken or not.

Please feel free to encourage non-member colleagues to attend should this be an area of interest but, please note, members of the Insurance Institute of Guernsey will receive priority in the event of capacity being reached.

In booking your place(s) please provide your name, company, confirm if you are a member of the IIG or not, and advise should you require a vegetarian meal. Please note that vegetarian meals need to be pre ordered and cannot be ordered on the day. Please also inform us if you have any other special requirements that we can assist with. Should you cancel attendance after 16 July the attendance fee remains payable.
