Insurance Development Event October / November 2022
Insurance Development Event 2022
The Insurance Institute of Guernsey is holding its Insurance Development Event at Les Cotils on Monday 31 October and Tuesday 1 November 2022.
The programme includes educational presentations on a range of technical topics and soft skills, across four half-day sessions.
The programme can be found here
All of you will be aware that all qualified members need to complete a minimum of 35 hours of compulsory CPD each year (of which at least 21 hours must be structured CPD). Failure to maintain these levels of CPD places at risk your qualifications and professional standing.
For 2022, the Insurance Institute of Guernsey Council have taken on board feedback from prior years and have expanded the event to take place over two consecutive days, split into four morning and afternoon sessions.
It is hoped that this will increase the opportunity for Members to attend sessions, while providing a bit more flexibility for employers to spread the impact of having their team members out of the office.
There will also be a networking opportunity on Tuesday 1 November 2022 over a glass of wine or a beer.
The Insurance Institute of Guernsey is in the fortunate position of being able to subsidise this event, and the fees for attending are as follows:
Pricing: | CII Member | Non-Member |
Full Day – AM and PM Session - including lunch | £35.00 | £50.00 |
Half day – AM or PM – including lunch | £20.00 | £30.00 |
Half day – AM or PM | £15.00 | £25.00 |
Registration is open now! You may book using the online payment system below or by completing a booking form and emailing it to iiglunch@islands.gg
Closing date for registrations is Tuesday 25 October 2022.
We are confident that the Insurance Development Day will provide a valuable contribution to achieving and maintaining CPD requirements and we hope that you and your employers will be able to support this event.
