The Insurance Institute of Guernsey is holding its Insurance Development Event at Les Cotils on Monday 30 October and Tuesday 31 October 2023. The programme includes educational presentations on a range of technical topics and soft skills, across four half-day sessions. Registration is open now!

On behalf of the Insurance Institute of Guernsey, our Annual Dinner will take place at the Duke of Richmond Hotel on Friday 13th October 2023. This year, we are taking a fresh view and the event will be ‘Black Tie or Business Attire/Dinner Dresses’. The event commences at 6.45pm, followed by dinner and speeches at 7.30pm. Once again, after last year’s performance, we will be welcoming ‘The Underdogs’ back for after dinner entertainment.

The annual quiz night will be held on Thursday 30 March 2023 at St Pierre Park Hotel, starting at 7pm prompt. The quiz will once again be hosted by Sean McManus and his team and promises to see the usual rivalry for the trophy. A raffle will be held while the final scores are being counted with proceeds going to Autism Guernsey and the Insurance Charities. Entry fees will be £16 per person (in teams of 6) to include a Ploughman’s Supper

The Insurance Institute of Guernsey is holding an IF1 training provided by trainer Alan Chandler for those studying the certificate in insurance at Les Cotils on Thursday, 16 March 2023. Alan will guide you through all the IF1 content during the day and will use his experience and enthusiastic presenting style to create relevant plain English examples to equip all the delegates to pass IF1. The Insurance Institute of Guernsey is in the fortunate position of being able to subsidise this event, and the fee for attending is £35 per person.
