Appliance Fires Presentation at The Village Hotel on Wednesday 24 April We experienced a very informative presentation from Ian Wallis-Guy of Burgoynes in a lunchtime session. The manufacturers have woken up to the dangers posed and have sought to lessen the risk of fires. The group attending asked a number of incisive questions. Feedback demonstrated the presentation was well received. Key learning point: Ian recommends you never runs a household appliance (other than fridge/freezer) without people being in the house.
