This presentation provides an overview of professional indemnity insurance. It looks at the main case law underpinning the PI market, why the PI market is expanding in terms of number of policyholders needing the cover yet at the same time the capacity is decreasing.

The webinar, presented by Alan Chandler, one of the most popular presenters in the UK, explores the problems posed by a claims made wording and the difficulty clients have going into retirement without adequate run off cover. The presentation also looks at ensuring the correct limits of indemnity are set.

Alan is one of the most well known and popular presenters in the UK, delivering both technical and Acii examination presentations across both Europe and Asia.

Alan has undertaken operational management roles for three major global companies. NatWest Insurance Services, RBS Insurance Group and Allianz Insurance and has run underwriting, broking and claims functions, then 12 years ago he set up his own training and consultancy company, something that he had always longed to do due to his passion for training and professionalism.

He has gone onto train six of the individuals who have achieved the best ACII completion in the whole of the United Kingdom and many of the people he has trained have won national prizes across diverse subjects. He is one of the few individuals that can take someone from Certificate and train them all the way through to Acii with pass rates of almost 100%.
