The event will cover the introduction of drones, how and where they are being used, in what industries, to what effect and the different uses including Insurance (Claims and Risk), Agriculture (Claims, Risk and crop health) and Environmental (data outputs).
The event will also cover how best to employ drones and when.

>> Speaker Biography
After a career of 25 years in the Armed Forces, Shane and his wife Rebecca started a drone company supplying complete end-to-end drone solutions to the insurance industry which came about as a result of the South Yorkshire floods of 2007. Realising that large scale aerial media could be invaluable in such situations where access was almost impossible, but where immediate decisions needed to be made.
From its inception and formation in 2013, the Iprosurv has seen huge growth and new clients added to existing client base, working in industries such as Insurance (Claims and Risk), Construction, Precision Agriculture, Surveillance, Environmental, Infrastructure and Forensics but to name a few, from major loss and surge events, to small residential claims where speed of deployment and consistent and guaranteed data are required.
Located in the Advanced Technology Park in Sheffield, ensures that Iprosurv can be at the cutting edge of new solutions to the drone industry and work on various research and development projects throughout the country and in Europe.
During the pandemic, Iprosurv worked with its clients and the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) to maintain a level of service ensuring through its network of over 100 national drone pilots, that our clients could ensure their customers’ needs could be maintained, whilst ensuring the pandemic social distancing rules were observed and maintained.
