Andrew became a loss adjuster nearly 30 years ago and an early exposure to a regular supply of product liability claims paved his way to a career path specializing in this arena. A move to the Specialist Adjusting Unit of Ellis & Buckle coincided with a spate of higher profile and complex product liability claims including claims from the food & beverage industry involving a multitude of microbiological contaminations, many examples of surface coating failures and packaging taints. Working for a variety of insurers and private corporations he developed an investigative approach, defined by understanding the product, where it had been delivered, its function and other critical questions. He expanded his work overseas working for clients with Global representation, and both cross border suppliers/customers which developed his interest in International claims handling.

He has maintained an interest in product liability claims and during the last 10 years he has developed Cunningham Lindsey's Product Recall Service with claims as diverse as exploding scampi, contaminated tea, sub-sea pipeline failures and munitions defects.

He also works with leading Underwriters developing and interpreting of policy wordings together with the assessment of quantum.

Throughout his career he has lectured and written on product liability & recall claims investigation and management. H e currently operates from two locations, London & Manchester holding the position of Cunningham Lindsey's Global Head of Product Liability & Recall Services.
