Most companies are responsible for the transport of goods, whether international or domestic, whether owner or carrier. Whilst the goods are in transit they will encounter different environmental and social factors that will affect the risk.

Who Should Attend? Anyone who works in general insurance with a property element in their role. How Marine Cargo Insurance works is relevant to underwriters, claims handlers and brokers alike.

The Speaker
Lance has worked in the insurance industry for over 20 years. He is a Senior Marine Cargo Underwriter with Zurich Insurance for whom he has worked for over 7 years. Prior to that, he was a Cargo and Freight Liability Underwriter for CNA. Lance was until recently the Chairman of Leeds Marine Insurance Association.

Venue
The Bradford Club is situated in Piece Hall Yard which runs between Kirkgate and Hustlergate in Bradford City Centre. The nearest railway station is (Bradford) Foster Square. However, it is within easy walking distance of the Bradford Interchange. Some limited and restricted on street parking is available. However, other parking is available at the Foster Square Retail Park and the Kirkgate Shopping centre.
