Matthew Greaves - Drones On Demand

Overview:

Drones regularly feature in the media - usually attracting negative publicity from a sensationalist press. This session aims to dismiss some of the myths surrounding drones and examine how they can be used to quickly, safely and accurately capture data for use by the Insurance Industry.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of the session delegates will:

•Understand what a drone is

•Have knowledge of the legal issues surrounding the use of drones

•Understand some of the potential uses of drone technology in the insurance industry

Speaker biography:

Matthew Greaves recently retired from a 15 year career in IT Management to found Drones on Demand, a CAA approved commercial drone operator. Matthew has 3 years’ experience (an age in the drone industry) of flying and operating drones and is an evangelist for how emerging drone technology can be used in industry. Matthew is also a volunteer Mountain Rescuer.
