Who should attend?
Anyone who has worked in General Insurance for a few years and wishes to have a greater awareness of the scope of Directors and Officers policies and why this insurance protection may be worthwhile.

Speaker Biography
Edmund Conybeare is a highly regarded and experienced specialist Health and Safety lawyer who is passionate about defending his client’s interests. He trained in Leeds with a Legal Aid firm and subsequently spent three entertaining years as a specialist magistrates court advocate, gaining valuable experience in the cut and thrust of criminal defence. He subsequently moved to Shulmans LLP where he developed and led the firm’s first regulatory practice, and since 2011 has worked from home in Guiseley with a virtual firm based in Oxfordshire. Edmund’s practice includes health and safety, environmental issues, product liability, road traffic cases and general criminal work. He also has expertise in road transport cases, having prosecuted for VOSA (now the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency) for nine years. He represents a wide range of clients, from large companies to individuals, and seeks to leave no stone unturned in their defence.
