Who should attend?

Brokers - Effective "Claims Advocacy" depends on understanding the procedural framework that cases litigate within; only then can you bring a strategic influence to the decisions that are made.

Insurers - All litigated third party claims immediately attract greater cost and attention from the Insured and from your own management team. Developing talent makes litigated cases valuable tools in stretching your teams and their understanding of the process.

Claims Professionals - Investigations and advice pre-action should always be offered with a realistic sense of the "litigation pinch-points" and strategic hurdles the Insured is going to have to overcome.

Why You Should Attend

Rarely should lawyers be left to their own devices in a litigated claim. By knowing more about the litigation process you will be better equipped to dovetail the work you do on the Insured's behalf with their dedicated legal services provider. You will also be able to sense-check the performance and engagement the Insured are experiencing as a result of the lawyer's input and strategy.

Learning Objectives

By attending this seminar you will gain an understanding of:
• Differing Claims Philosophies, how we think about claims and the events and opportunities that arise within them.
• Developing a sense of proactivity in handling claims and litigation.
• Exploring the practicalities and experience from within our shared experience of claims and litigation looking at how working proactively, and with clear strategic objectives, we can help promote certainty of outcomes and overall success for the risks you support.
