Who should attend?

The session is for brokers, insurers, loss adjusters and anyone else involved in managing Professional Indemnity claims who wish to further their understanding of the practicalities and pitfalls that can be encountered when dealing with claims under these types of policies.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this event, the delegates will be able to: - Understand who needs PI cover - Familiarise with the structure of a typical PI policy - Understand the Insuring clause

- Identify typical conditions, exclusions and extensions

- Understand the practicalities and pitfalls

- Have a knowledge of the typical types of claims and how they are investigated

- Hear of example case studies

Speaker Biography

Amanda Stipetic is a Senior Associate at DWF and began her career in boutique insurance practice Robin Simon LLP 13 years ago. Amanda has dealt with professional Indemnity claims for a wide variety of professions for over a decade, as well as having extensive experience of Directors and Officers claims.
