Health and Wellbeing in the remote and hybrid working environment

Thursday, 04 November 2021
1:00 pm – 2:00 pm (UK time)
    • Nick Thomas, Nick Thomas & Associates

In March 2020 organisations and their employees had to shift rapidly and unexpectedly from primarily office-based working, to working remotely from home. Whilst many have enjoyed avoiding tortuous commutes and have found extra time for personal and work pursuits, these changes have also led to concerns about employee health and wellbeing, and organisations’ ability to monitor these areas in a remote context.
This session builds awareness of the key health and wellbeing challenges to home working and provides the tools and skills to overcome them and to build optimum health.

Learning objectives:

By the end of this session attendees will:

• Understand the key challenges to wellbeing and health in a remote working environment and to consider the impact of moving to a hybrid model
• Build an understanding of the real nature of stress, the effect of the balance of stressors on the autonomic nervous system, how in modern life we are often out of balance and how this impacts our health and wellbeing.
• Understand the most important factors that impact your health, and how to integrate them in a home working and hybrid environment
. Understand how to access and build energy at multiple ‘levels’ to combat burnout and optimize performance.
