View event detailsCPD Program - Change Management
The insurance and financial services sector often seems like it is continually changing. We have seen a number of mergers and acquisitions locally in recent years, and regulation and legislation continue to evolve. These changes can often make us feel unsettled and uncertain. Change Management is usually seen as a 'top down' discipline, but what about those of us not at the top? Our speaker is Clare Crowther, a Change Management Consultant and Qualified Practitioner in psychometrics to improve team-working. By the end of the session, we aim to give attendees new insights into responding to and handling change, and improving their personal effctiveness. The presentation will be suitable for both CII and PFS members. Attendance qualifies for 1 hour of CPD. Questions to consider in advance: • What changes are you feeling the most right now and how do these affect you? • Changes in what particular areas of work affect you the most - FCA? Law? Internal processes? • Perhaps something else - what changes are affecting you?" Please bring your answers with you or send them in via email with your registration. Confidentiality will be maintained if required. Venue: The Village Hotel, Priory Park East, Hull HU4 7DY Date: Weds 24th January 2018 Time: 12.00 midday A free sandwich buffet will be provided - please advise any special requirements. Please reply to this email to register your place. Andrew Carrick President, Insurance Institute of Hull Tel: 01482 388558 ***For your diary - next CPD seminar will be on GDPR, 24th Feb 2018 ***
