Ipswich CII Lockdown as told by Mike Farrer

This week we bring you Mike Farrer's lockdown CII blog post:

'I had a Lambretta when I was quite young, but had to sell it when I wanted a car. I've now bought a 1961 Lambretta, Li 150 to rebuild into a reliable machine, as I can't go out as my wife is shielding. Here are some photos taken recently showing progress towards a complete re-wire, including the installation of 12v electrics, to replace the original 6v dim lights and weak spark! The wiring was a bit like granny's knitting after the new kitten got at it, so was a complete disaster, and easier to take it all out and start again rather than try to work out what had been done - at least I know what goes where now! There are 2 pictures of the bike frame, showing the initial strip-down, then one of the new ignition module (the blue bit,) and finally some of the surplus wire on the floor, to be thrown out!! More progress will follow shortly.'
