The Gordon Warren Young Achiever of the Year Award is presented to a young person in the local area that who has made the greatest strides forward in their career through outstanding Professional Development.

First awarded in 2005 in memory of Gordon Warren who served our institute with great distinction for over 50 years we are once again inviting nominations for this year’s award. This year we are inviting nominations from all employers in the Suffolk & North Essex area for any person, whether they are an institute member or not, who was under the age of 30 as at 31 December 2024, and who has made the greatest strides forward in their career through outstanding Professional Development in the last year. The nomination can be made by anyone in a company and should be made on the nomination form. Please note the nomination needs to be endorsed by the individual's line manager or senior manager.
| The judges will be looking for someone who has proactively developed themselves during the last twelve months either through completing institute examinations or through any other form of professional or vocational study, and who has also during the same period:

The closing date for nominations is 31 January 2025. The adjudication of the award will be made at a meeting of the local institute council; the decision of the council is final.
This distinctive award together with a cheque for £150 will be presented in April 2025.
There are some very talented people out there in our area and this award is an excellent opportunity for local companies to recognise the hard work and dedication of some of their younger employees.
