Resilience - bringing wellbeing into your study regime by Katherine Jones, KJ Development
Overview
Studying for professional qualifications with a heavy workload can be stressful and exhausting. This session will help individuals develop personal resilience and take positive steps to manage wellbeing during challenging times. It is aimed at staff who are studying for professional qualifications and have an interest in increasing their own resilience levels, and also managers who are supporting staff in their team who are studying.
Learning objectives
At the end of this event, the delegate will be able to identify:
• why resilience and wellbeing are critical to peak performance
• typical responses to stress
• chemistry of the brain and body
• boosting resilience reserves
• practical ways to manage your wellbeing
• sharing ideas with colleagues who face similar challenges.
This event is being held in The Legends Suite.
ITFC is accessible via the main gates in Constantine Road. From the gates there is a car park (first come first served), from the car park with the stadium in front of you bear to the right hand side of the ground and the Legends Suite is accessed through glass doors and via stairs to the second floor.
Gate 17 from Portman Road will also be open.
