Developing Network Skills
Effective, engaging and enjoyable networking is an important part of your working life. But it’s NOT all about using people for your gain. Rather, it IS about a win/win exchange of contacts, information, business referrals, and tips that help the other person as much as yourself. When you learn something new that excites you, and the other person learns something interesting or hopeful, a successful networking relationship has begun. This session is designed to give you the inspiration and confidence to develop your networking skills. Suitable for all staff who want to refresh and develop their networking skills.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of the session delegates will:
- Be clear about the benefits of networking
- Understand the common barriers
- Rethink opportunities for networking – online and offline
