WEBINAR - Giving and Receiving Feedback effectively
We know that feedback is essential for professional development and healthy relationships – but we dread it and often dismiss it. That’s because while we want to learn and grow, we also want to be accepted just as we are.
However, research indicates that 70% of learning comes whilst we’re on the job, with 20% from developmental relationships and 10% resulting from training. This means that being able to receive and give feedback is crucial in determining high performance. Yet many managers find it one of the hardest areas of their job.
This 1-hour practical session will offer tools and techniques to ensure your feedback is delivered in a way that gets the message across while maintaining your relationship. It will also provide some tips and techniques for taking feedback well.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this Zoom webinar, you will be able to:
- Prepare delivering feedback with team and peers
- Use a structure which clearly communicates the helpful or unhelpful behaviour and its impact
- Listen to feedback effectively even if it’s poorly delivered or unfair.
