Virtual Run for Fabba this January!

The Chartered Insurance Institute of Ipswich, Suffolk and North Essex would like to raise funds for a cause close our President's heart; the Fabba Theatre Group in Norfolk and Suffolk which supports individuals with learning difficulties, physical disabilities, autism and mental health needs. Fabba are a self-funded group that have limited resources for staging, costumes, and transport.

You can cover 10km however YOU want by the end of January. You can walk, run, cartwheel, skate - whatever works for you. Do it as one 10km, two 5kms or even ten 1kms. Get creative in these extraordinary circumstances.

Please note, where possible and government guidance permitting, we are planning on attending a Parkrun each Saturday during January so that anyone who would like to run with others who are taking part can do so! We plan on being at Ipswich Parkrun on the 8th of January, Colchester Highwoods Parkrun on the 15th of January, Bury Nowton Park on the 22nd of January and Stowmarket Chilton Fields on the 29th of January. We look forward to seeing you there!

How to sign up:

1. Pay your £10 (minimum) entry fee to our JustGiving page: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/ciiipswichsuffolknorthessex remember to include your name, where you work and "Virtual Run" so we can track payments.

2. Travel your 10km YOUR way, before the end of January

3. Send a screenshot from your favourite fitness app or watch, or other evidence that you have completed 10km to ipswichcii@outlook.com - send us your photos showing you out and about and your location for our map!

4. Once the challenge is over, we will send out your well-earned medal. Remember when submitting your evidence to include your postal address so we can send out your memento - this will remain confidential and will not be used for any marketing purposes.
