In 2021, the UK Financial Conduct Authority introduced new Consumer Duty regulations which focus on four customer outcomes:-

  • The governance of products and services
  • Price and value
  • Consumer understanding
  • Consumer support

The Insurance Institute of the Isle of Man is happy to announce that their next event will provide an overview of the Consumer Duty regulations. Given the importance attached to this regulatory change, we are offering this event free to members & non-members.

Learning objectives

by the end of this event delegates will gain insights into:

  • The FCA’s expectations with regards to Consumer Duty
  • How the price and value customer outcome might impact products and services
  • How the consumer understanding and consumer support outcomes might influence the relationship between distributors (intermediaries) and service providers (e.g. life and pension providers)
