Bringing About Change In Others: Explaining, Motivating and Problem Solving
This lunchtime session is designed to give attendees insights into how to motivate and support colleagues and teams to achieve goals and embrace change.
The session will cover the following areas:
* Motivation
* Explanations that 'stick'
* Setting goals
* Having difficult conversations
* Focusing on positive outcomes and being open to learning
Our speaker, Simon Milner, has been teaching in Jersey since 2009; he currently has responsibility for leading the development of learning in an 11-18 school. He studied at Oxford University as an undergraduate and then postgraduate student.
Lunch will be provided. Please arrive at 12:45pm for a 1pm start.
