Time Management and Business Etiquette
The Insurance Institute of Kendal and The Insurance Institute of Preston and Blackpool are happy to announce a joint event that will focus on Time Management and Business Etiquette.
Learning objectives
Delegates attending will be able to identify the following:
- Current time management issues
- Possible solutions in relation to 'how to maximise personal productivity'
- How to balance being liked and being right to get the best results at work
The event will be delivered by Pam Day. Pam summarises her work as follows:
"I studied law for my first degree and really enjoyed applying this to conveyancing early in my career, especially when the development of desktop computers meant that I could computerise the whole conveyancing process. This fuelled my passion for innovation and learning and eventually resulted in me becoming Director of The Innovation Academy at the University of Salford and studying neuroscience and the psychometrics of high performance at work. During this time, I discovered two mantras quoted by high performers: first, it's better to be liked than right when you first meet someone; second, everyone has the same 24 hours in every day, it's how you use them that is the difference that makes the difference”.
