The Insurance Institute of Leeds is delighted to once again provide the Building Champions Coaching Programme. Building Champions is Jamie Peacock’s mentoring programme based upon his keynote seminar Champion Teams and the Principles of Success. The course covers Personal Development and Leadership Training, it is bespoke and will be tailored to your individual business and personal needs.

Being asked to deliver a presentation or address a room full of people can be seen as a daunting task. A lack of adequate training or preparation to make such a presentation can lead to anxiety, nervousness and perhaps even fear. This in turn can create limitations – such as slowing down your career path or failing to close that deal you have been working on. This interactive workshop will provide you with practical guidance and techniques that will enable you to improve and master your presentation skills in a clear, confident and professional manner that will leave a lasting and positive impression on your audience.

Resilience is a critical quality for an individual, a team or a business if they are to overcome obstacles and reversals and achieve their goals. For the insurance and financial services sectors our own regulator – the Financial Conduct Authority – places great emphasis on the importance of Operational Resilience, ensuring that regulated businesses are robust enough to withstand the most severe setbacks. This lively and engaging presentation from Tony Dorigo, former Leeds United and England footballer and now a highly respected media personality and motivational speaker, will give insight into how Tony and many influential people that he has worked with, have overcome their own setbacks to become high achievers in their chosen fields. He will share the many lessons and techniques that can help you to achieve your own ambitions.
