EIP trip: Visit to Lloyd's and CII New Premises

The Emerging Insurance Professionals are offering our upcoming members the opportunity to go down to London and have a tour of both Lloyd's of London and the new CII headquarters at Lombard Street.

Travel will be from Leeds train station and a buffet lunch will be provided.

At Lloyd's, those attending will see exactly how the heart of the global insurance profession operates, along with a presentation with Keith Stern, Lloyd's Regional Manager, UK & Ireland. While the visit to the CII will allow the visiting party to see the centre of our professional membership organisation and the new premises.

Networking opportunity at a venue in London before the trip home.

Conditions
-We allow 2 people per company
-The train fare will be paid by the Insurance Institute of Leeds
-Payment is required prior to the event following a received invoice
-Any cancellations please inform the office at leedsinsitute@cii.co.uk with immediate effect. Named person can be replaced.
-On the day cancellations without appropriate reason will incur a £50 fee
-A full itinerary including Lloyd's Visitor Guidelines will be sent a week before the date.

Meet at Leeds train station at M&S

08.15:

Train departs

10:31:

Train arrives in London King Cross, travel via underground to Bank Station

11.00:

Delegates and chaperones to arrive at Lloyd’s to meet security with ID

11.15 - 12.00:

Tour begins (in two groups – 1 chaperone each)

12.00 – 13:45:

Presentation with Keith Stern, Regional Manager, UK & Ireland

Light lunch provided

13:45 – 14.45:

Meet with Nick Plastow -Tour of new CII office at Lombard Street

15:00

Local venue - Networking

Travel back to London King Cross via underground
