The Insurance Institute of Leeds is proud to announce the return of ‘The New Generation Leadership Programme’ which will be delivered by Quarterdeck a market leading development and coaching business.

This programme is an ideal fit for people recently appointed to a management or team leader role, managers who want to develop and hone their leadership skills or people who aspire to reach leadership positions in their career path. Even if this isn’t something that you are interested in yourself we would encourage people to consider whether there is anyone else within their business who would benefit from this wonderful opportunity.

So many people go from year to year never quite achieving their goals, never getting the stuff that's really important to them, their future, their business done. The key to achieving your goals is organisation. Yes, a Positive Attitude is important too, but without organisation, you will find yourself swimming around in the same endlessly interrupted world of emails, social events, meetings and not focusing on getting the important stuff done. We'll deal specifically with the 'Tyranny of your Inbox’.

Come armed with your To Do List and your Goals - Personal and Business - and we'll get you organised in such a way that when you leave the room you will have a clear path to success.

Speaker Biography
Laura is the Managing Director of the highly successful Leadership and Executive Development business Quarterdeck. She is passionate about inspiring people and she has made it her mission in life to empower people to become their best. Laura has 3 degrees, 2 of which are from Oxford University. She is a published author and editor in the competitive field of academia.

The New Generation Leadership Programme is made up of six masterclasses, each one running between 2-3 hours. These will be interactive workshops with a maximum of 15 attendees. The sessions are free to attend but booking will be essential as slots will be filled on a first come first serve basis. The six topics will be:

• Session 1: Getting the important stuff done
• Session 2: Understanding leadership
• Session 3: Developing and maintaining a positive mindset
• Session 4: Having difficult conversations
• Session 5: How to do a 1-2-1 that really work
• Session 6: Presentation skills

Booking for each session will be released around a month prior to the session and slots will be filled on a first come first served basis (with a maximum of 2 attendees per business). While the session is free to attend, non-attendance or cancellation on the day without an appropriate reason will be charged at £50.
