The use of equity release as a financial tool has gained significant momentum of the last 5 years and is showing no sign of slowing. Continuous growth spans from not only record low interest rates, but the industries focus on innovation and development to ensure everyone the offering is both competitive and appropriate.
This webinar will present a general introduction to the industry, providing the knowledge, contact and support to allow people to venture further into this space. This session will help alleviate some common misconceptions with equity release and showcase how viable it is as a financial consideration for you and your clients. Equity release is and should be a part of every financial discussion when we are catering for clients in later life.

Speaker Biographies
Hattie Tales is National Account Manager at Pure Retirement. Before joining Pure in 2017, Hattie worked for an equity release specialist law firm, giving her a really rounded knowledge of the equity release process. She has been in Business Development since 2013 years and within the equity release since 2015. Since joining the sector Hattie have been nominated for Best BDM at the Mortgage Solutions Equity Release awards twice and for the Financial Reporter Women’s Recognition Awards twice also.
Living in Cheltenham, she covers the whole of the UK in her role and spends time mainly on the road supporting her team of BDMs, attending face to face meetings and events with key accounts, networks and mortgage clubs as well as using video technology to keep in touch when times are busy.
Hattie is proud to have built her reputation by always being available and bringing new ideas to broker education, innovation and support and not being afraid to think outside the box to create an impact.
Daniel Edmondson is BDM of the North at Pure Retirement. Relatively new to financial services and have worked with Pure Retirement since 2019. Previous roles within the company include Telephone BDM covering both the North and more recently the South West and Midlands, and prior to this has been involved in property, B2B sales and FMCG.
In his short time within the equity release industry Daniel has shown his ability to provide exceptional support and service to my contacts which has stood him in good stead for the progression he has received so far.
Daniel is responsible for the North of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland and is more than prepared to come and see everyone in person. Personally based in West Yorkshire/Leeds and have the capacity to not only see all face-to-face but also via Zoom which has been ever apparent during the pandemic.
