Marine insurance is the oldest form of insurance and despite the new Insurance Act replacing the previous duty of disclosure of the Marine Insurance Act 1906, marine still plays a pivotal role in today’s insurance marketplace.

Neil Atkinson, CNA Hardy
Neil is former Chairman of the Manchester Marine Insurance Association and until recently sat on the Joint Cargo Committee at Lloyds. He has been working in the Manchester Marine Market for nearly 20 years working mostly in underwriting, but also spending time in broking and claims. His current role as Regional Marine Manager at CNA Hardy is split between cargo, transportation and contract logistics.
