Champion Teams – Leadership and The Community, with Jamie Peacock MBE
This in person seminar sees the launch of the Insurance Institute of Leeds Community Month. Jamie Peacock MBE will provide a motivational talk that covers teamwork, mindset and professional standards, taking the audience through 12 aspects of leadership in three areas plus three aspects of well-being that enable a team to fulfill their potential and for everyone to be the Champion version of themselves.
The three areas and well-being are:
- Being your best as an Individual – this is about having a Good Attitude, Self-Discipline, Going the Extra Mile, Self-Belief and Positive Influences
- The collective commitment to the plan - this is about side before self and understanding what is required to execute a plan.
- Leadership – in successful teams everyone leads a little and Jamie will cover how everyone can do this by speaking Hard Truths, Walking the Walk and Knowing their team-mates
- Sleeping Well, Physical Activity + Eating Healthily

Jamie Peacock MBE
Regularly described as one of the best players of his generation Jamie enjoyed a long and glittering career in the field of professional Rugby League playing with great distinction for Bradford Bulls, Leeds Rhinos, England and Great Britain. By the time he reached the end of his playing career Jamie had become the most decorated player of the Super League era.
Jamie now runs a number of successful enterprises ranging from Health and Well-being programmes to motivational talks targeting self-improvement, leadership and team collaboration. He is also now a keen endurance runner which he links to his support for charities, having raised over £100,000 for causes such as MND, Greenhouse Sports Project and Sue Ryder Hospices.
