Insurance Institute of Leeds Foodbank Charity Challenge
To raise money and awareness of our President’s chosen charity, the Leeds South & East Foodbank, we are inviting members to join in with a charity challenge between the 15th and 19th July.
The challenge
For a 3 day period, the challenge is to only eat food and drink you would find in a typical food parcel given out at food banks around the country.
How it works
Sign up via the link below so we can keep track of who is taking part, and make a £10 entry donation on our Just Giving page - https://www.justgiving.com/page/iilfoodbank
Choose 3 days to take part in the challenge (we’re suggesting the week commencing 15th July, but the challenge is flexible and can be done at any time).
Use the shopping list below to buy your food and drink items for the 3 days.
Share your progress and meals on LinkedIn. Tag the Insurance Institute of Leeds and use the hashtag #iilfoodbankchallenge
Who can take part?
Anyone! Encourage colleagues, friends & family to join in or sponsor your efforts via our Just Giving page.
Who are we raising money for?
Your £10 donation and any sponsorship will go towards helping the Leeds South & East Foodbank distribute food to those most in need. They supported over 16,000 local people with emergency food in 2023/24, of which 40% were children.
