Speaker Biographies

Our speakers are all based in the Leeds office of Mills & Reeve LLP, a leading national law firm. They are members of Mills & Reeve’s national insurance disputes team, with colleagues in London, Manchester, Birmingham and Norwich.

Neil Howes, Partner
Neil is a recognised expert in the field of professional negligence litigation and is ranked as Leading Individual by Legal 500. He acts for a wide range of professionals and their insurers. His insight and experience means that he is regularly instructed to defend high profile claims with significant reputational and financial implications. His clients include major law firms, barristers, and construction professionals (including architects, engineers, design & build contractors, and surveyors). His experience also extends to acting for professionals in the life science and technology sectors. He is also a qualified mediator.

Bradley Needham, Associate
Bradley’s expertise is based around defending claims against a range of professionals, with a particular focus upon cases involving solicitors, construction professionals and insurance brokers. He also has expertise in casualty matters, including defending a variety of insureds in respect of public and employer's liability personal injury claims.

Robyn Cutts, Associate
Robyn advises insurers and legal, financial and property professionals in the defence of claims, regulatory complaints and policy coverage matters. Robyn previously worked in operations management. Robyn is a member of the Leeds Chartered Insurance Institute (including the Emerging Insurance Professionals Network) and Leeds Junior Lawyers’ Division.
