Resilience is a critical quality for an individual, a team or a business if they are to overcome obstacles and reversals and achieve their goals. For the insurance and financial services sectors our own regulator – the Financial Conduct Authority – places great emphasis on the importance of Operational Resilience, ensuring that regulated businesses are robust enough to withstand the most severe setbacks.

This lively and engaging presentation from Tony Dorigo, former Leeds United and England footballer and now a highly respected media personality and motivational speaker, will give insight into how Tony and many influential people that he has worked with, have overcome their own setbacks to become high achievers in their chosen fields. He will share the many lessons and techniques that can help you to achieve your own ambitions.

Tony will also discuss the role of resilience in his most recent fund-raising project – The Tony Dorigo Burj Khalifa Climb which is being attempted by his good friend Rob Northfield.
