Being asked to deliver a presentation or address a room full of people can be seen as a daunting task. A lack of adequate training or preparation to make such a presentation can lead to anxiety, nervousness and perhaps even fear. This in turn can create limitations – such as slowing down your career path or failing to close that deal you have been working on.

This interactive workshop will provide you with practical guidance and techniques that will enable you to improve and master your presentation skills in a clear, confident and professional manner that will leave a lasting and positive impression on your audience.

Learning Objectives
By the end of this workshop you will -
• Develop the confidence to speak in public
• Learn techniques on how to overcome nerves
• Learn how to deliver talks that carry a structured and positive message
• Be able to deliver short, punchy presentations without notes
• Know how to “hold the room”
• Learn best practice for speaking at formal occasions.

Speaker Biography – Rob Northfield (aka The Stairmaster)

Rob Northfield is an award-winning entrepreneur, leadership expert and inspirational speaker. During the course of his career Rob has worked with many high-profile business leaders and sports people, coaching them to levels of performance that they scarcely thought possible of themselves. Rob believes that one of the fundamental pillars of success is being able to communicate effectively in public and his techniques are valued by everyone who has been fortunate enough to be coached by him.

Rob is also a committed charity fund-raiser, which includes working as an ambassador for Henshaws in Knaresbough, a charity which supports people living with sight loss and a range of other disabilities. Later this year he will attempt the Tony Dorigo Burj Khalifa Climb. Supported by former Leeds United and England footballer Tony Dorigo, Rob will attempt 4 to 6 hours on The Stairmaster which is the equivalent of scaling the stairs of one of the world’s tallest buildings – The Burj Khalifa – over 5 times in a row (or 1,272 floors!).
