This seminar will present a technical Case Study of a major Country House fire. It will cover a number of different aspects but, in particular, it will deliver the following key learning objectives:

  • An understanding of the Claims process from day one to conclusion
  • An awareness of how policy cover issues are considered and handled
  • An understanding of how re-instatement requirements are balanced against the need for conservation
  • An awareness of how the potential opportunity for a recovery is considered and pursued if identified
  • The seminar will be of interest to Brokers, Underwriters, risk surveyors and claims handlers

Chris Buesnel joined Loss Adjuster Thomas Howell after initial underwriting training. He is FCII and FCILA qualified and has worked as a loss adjuster for over 30 years. Now with Crawfords, he works within their Major and Complex Loss Team based out of the Crawford Northampton office.
