12:15 pm – 1:45 pm (UK time)

Event Details

This event is now sold out. If you would like to join the waiting list please contact Mal Fairhurst at treasurer@theiil.org.uk

It is not uncommon these days to encounter people operating the latest in dangerous toys, including flying drones, rolling hoverboards, speeding monowheels and lumbering Segways.

However, the public, consumers and, to some extent, insurers are failing to recognise that these activities are not only dangerous, but are often uninsured and may even be illegal.

Dr Swan will provide a valuable briefing on these new risks and the issues facing the insurance market.

Delegates attending this seminar will learn about:

  • The rapid spread of drones and other “dangerous toys” in business and leisure;
  • The legal status of drones and the other “toys”; and
  • The many insurance needs that their rapidly expanding use creates.

CII members can attend this event for free, and non-members can attend for a £5 fee, which can be paid directly to the institute after booking or via Paypal when booking below.

If you have any questions about the event please contact Laura Bee at education@theiil.org.uk

This event is kindly sponsored by Arthur J Gallagher
