Cert CII IF1 Lunchtime virtual study seminars 2023

CII Leicester will be hosting a series of two hour lunchtime seminars (12pm – 2pm) for the Cert CII Module IF1, in conjunction with ACT One Training Services Ltd.

Are you about to enroll for IF1 Insurance, Legal and Regulatory? If so these fortnightly lunchtime study seminars, will help you to focus more effectively on the compulsory CII subject-unit & so build your confidence.

IF1 is the compulsory unit for the Certificate in Insurance, which consists of a 2-hour multiple choice exam, based on 100 questions. IF1 provides a fundamental grounding of the key insurance principles, and also includes the regulatory environment.

The training will focus on the IF1 CII Certificate subject unit, which is a compulsory unit, requiring up to 60 hours study by the CII. IF1 study seminars, will help to build a foundation of insurance knowledge, with the aim of the participants passing their first CII exam.

• To build foundation insurance knowledge;

• To demonstrate the importance of the IF1 syllabus;

• To highlight effective study & exam techniques;

• To practice Multi choice questions (MCQ).

With each training session being virtual, it is imperative that delegates commit to studying in their own time to maximise the benefit from the learning experience. The style of training will be interactive, to make the subject come to life. Activities will be set which need to be completed between the seminars. As the sessions are on zoom, participants need to be on camera.

Alison Cooper FCII, Director of ACT One Training Services Ltd, will guide delegates on the right study skills and exam technique, for IF1, by focusing on key areas of the syllabus.

The ACT One focus is on active learning & adopting effective study & exam techniques. Alison’s approach taps into her experience as a CII pass master & CII senior examiner.

The series of virtual zoom seminars will provide an opportunity for delegates to build their insurance knowledge, to clarify areas of concern & provide opportunities to practice multiple choice questions. A workbook of activities will be provided to each delegate.

• To highlight key areas of the IF1 exam syllabus

• To help participants to build their foundation insurance knowledge

• To practice multiple choice questions.

How to book:

Delegates will need to enroll directly with the CII to pay for their own study texts and exam entry for IF1.

Delegates must be able to attend ALL of the seven seminars, to register a place.
