September is that ‘back to school’ time for adults as well as children. Have you been thinking about starting to study for a Dip CII or Cert CII qualification? Or have you passed a few units already but would like tuition in your remaining subjects? If so, read on. And do so now; prompt action is required.
A number of Local CII Institutes have partnered with Intuition Training to provide free tuition for the main Diploma and Certificate subjects. 13 separate training sessions for 10 different Diploma and Certificate subjects will start between 6 September and 20 November. The training will be on-line.
For the Diploma, the training consists of five three-hour sessions every two weeks which will go through the detail of the study text, supported by end-of-chapter questions. This is followed by two three-hour revision sessions based on mock exams and revision quizzes.
At Certificate level, the training for the compulsory IF1 Insurance Legal & Regulatory consists of five three-hour study text sessions and two three-hour revision sessions. For the other three units offered, it’s three three-hour study text sessions plus one three-hour revision session. All sessions are at two-week intervals.
For all units, sessions are recorded so learners can re-listen as part of their studies. Audio versions will also be available, so you can listen while driving or walking. In addition to the training time and the recorded sessions, all learners will be provided with a broad set of training and revision materials for each unit. Groups won’t be larger than 25 learners to enable interactive and engaging sessions.
Please note that Leicester CII is funding your tuition. Your employer still needs to fund your study text and assessment entry.

- Check that you can be released on the dates and times for your unit.

ACII If you have your Diploma and want training in Advanced Diploma subjects, you aren’t forgotten. We hope to make an announcement shortly.
Intuition Training. Your trainer will be Adrian Toomey. He has experience coaching on many different CII units at Advanced Diploma (ACII), Diploma and Certificate level. He runs training programmes and revision sessions with insurers, brokers, claims specialists and MGAs, from single office firms through to global organisations, supporting hundreds of learners towards successful completion of their CII qualifications.
