The Three Wise Insurance Execs: an insurance Christmas story!
This amusing and fun webinar will look at the magic of the Christmas story through the eyes of The Three Wise Insurance Execs, as they set out on their camels to reach The Lloyd´s Building in London, above which a guiding star shines brightly.
During their journey the execs will meet the Ghosts of Insurance Past, Present & Future and they will enlighten us with a review of the insurance world in 2024, current issues, and what we can expect in 2025 and beyond. The story will be narrated by Jeff Heasman using specially commissioned artwork.
The webinar is free for all CII & PFS members to attend, however Jeff will very kindly donate 25% of his proceeds from this webinar to the Insurance Charities, and in that way we will all play a part in helping those who need help the most at this time of the year.

Financial awareness – a plain English overview
Understanding clients’ accounts has never been more important for brokers and underwriters alike, with tremendous scrutiny now being put on clients' accounts, so account executives, account handlers and underwriters will need to understand the main terminology.
The way accountants record financial information is often different from what insurers need and understanding the difference can help you ensure your clients get their sums insured right.
This presentation, provided by Alan Chandler one of the most popular presenters in the UK, looks to provide a plain English understanding of what is in a balance sheet, Profit and Loss account and a cash flow statement and how these can be read easily by non-accountants.
