ANNUAL DINNER and celebration of Burns Night

The Chapter House at Lincoln Cathedral

John Ruskin described Lincoln Cathedral as "out and out, the most precious piece of architecture in the British Isles".

It is our pleasure to invite you to attend the Annual Dinner of the Lincoln Insurance Institute on Friday, 25th January 2019.

Reception is 7:30 p.m. for Dinner at 8:00 p.m.

Dress code is "Dinner Jacket/Evening Dress" and the cost is £55.00 per head.

Bar facilities are available after the Dinner at Bar 67 at the Lincoln Hotel and accommodation is available at the Lincoln Hotel, LN2 1PN, directly opposite the Cathedral on Eastgate.

This is available at a reduced rate of £87.00 (Standard Double) inclusive of full English breakfast: upgrades to superior rooms are available.

To reserve a room, please contact the Lincoln Hotel on 01522 520348, quoting 'Insurance 2019', and your Account should be settled directly with the Hotel upon departure.

Car parking is available at the Hotel.

(For those staying over, guided tours of the Cathedral, Roof and Tower are available at 11am on the Saturday).

Tables are available seating up to a maximum of 10 people and numbers are limited by the size of the venue. Wine and drinks are available to purchase on the night. This will be a CASH ONLY Bar in the Cathedral.

As the event is on Burns Night, we will be enjoying all the traditional elements of a Burns Supper with haggis for those who like it, a piper, a poem, toasts and short speeches from a representative from the CII, the Mayor of Lincoln - Councillor Keith Weaver - and our President, Iain Atkinson.

We will be holding a Raffle in aid of the 'Insurance Charities' and the 'RAF Benevolent Fund'.

If you are able to donate a prize in advance or on the evening, it would be much appreciated.
