Brian Griffiths

His early years in the insurance industry were spent at Royal Insurance and he joined Griffiths & Armour in 1966. He was President of the Liverpool Insurance Institute in 1978/79. He retired from the Partnership in May 1991 but was still heavily involved with the CII in London and BIBA for many years after.

He passed away on 25th March after a two year battle with cancer. Over 500 people attended his funeral at Chester Cathedral on 8th April.

The photographs show Brian at Griffiths & Armour’s 40th and 80th anniversaries (in 1975 and 2015) but as you can see Brian has changed very little in those 40 years.
