Cyber Crime and Security

October’s lecture was provided by Alistair Murray from The Bureau, on the subject of cybercrime and security. Alistair’s lecture was very well attended, and remains a very topical subject in light of recent cybercrime vulnerabilities that have emerged within the recent time. With the help of a simulated ‘live hack’, the advice provided by Alistair related to the ongoing developments with cyber security, how to stay safe when online and the importance of the Cyber Essentials scheme for micro, small and medium sized enterprises.
