Insurance Institute of Liverpool Family Fun Day – 15th July 2017

On Saturday 15th July, the Insurance Institute of Liverpool hosted a Family Day at Royden Park Model Engineering Society, Frankby, Wirral.

The railway operated exclusively for CII members and their families and they were able to enjoy a ride on one of the most popular miniature railways in the North West. The weather was a little overcast but this didn’t dampen any enjoyment or enthusiasm for the train rides!

Paramedic Pup was in attendance and the North West Air Ambulance, the President’s charity this year, had a stall. Our thanks to the members of the Royden Park Model Engineering Society for their support and giving up their time for free to run the railway for the afternoon and to everyone who came along to provide support.

A total of over £400 was raised on the day and everyone who attended had a great time – old and young alike!
