“Road casualties - what can be done to reduce them in Merseyside?”

July’s lecture was provided by Paul Mountford on the subject of current issues affecting road users in Merseyside. Paul’s lectures are always well attended, and this lecture didn’t disappoint, with a large number of attendees from a diverse range of Liverpool based companies attending. The talk touched on subjects that are becoming increasingly pertinent for road users to understand, most notably the new mobile phone laws that have been introduced and the penalties attributed to such use. Paul provides a very engaging style of talking, including the audience throughout, and the feedback from attendees was that Paul’s talk had been very well received. The Insurance Institute would like to thank Paul for providing the talk, and looks forward to welcoming him back for more exciting talks in the future.
